WOW! this class has the highest class average ( B) and no student has a failing grade. I made a deal with them - if we have all C's and above at the end of the quarter -- it's a popcorn party in class.
We are making excellent progress on our fraction unit -- today we worked on adding fractions and mixed numbers with the same denominators. Everyone said this was very easy. We also reviewed how to calculate multiples of three in a warm-up activity and THE ASSIGNMENT is to complete Puzzle 29, applications of proportions (just this one side, please).
Reminder, those mystery pictures, plotted on graph paper, are due by Friday.
