Today we tackled the hardest math skill there is -- adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators. I know this is something many students have not been able to master in the past so we took it very slow and made a lot of progress. Virtually everyone understood what the steps needed to be and could complete examples on their own. Yea!! We'll check tomorrow and see if everyone remembers what we did today.
There is NO ASSIGNMENT, but students should bring their mystery pictures to class and plan to finish them.
