we spend a day in the computer lab working with fractions on one of two websites: www.shodor.org or www.nctm.org. Each student had a list of the specific activities to try.
Because of the band field trip Thursday, we will practice converting from improper fractions to mixed numbers and back again -- There is a page on this in the skills workbook section in the back of the textbook. This should get done in class so that there is no homework.
This class is justifiably proud of their grades -- they have the highest class average of all 7th and 8th grade math classes -- no one is failing. Keep up the good work!!
