we discussed the assignment that reviewed key number sense topics (credit for effort in powerschool)
There was a quiz on multiplying and dividing decimals by powers of ten (notes and previous assingments could be used to help)
We will continue to work with decimals & multiplying and dividing them -- I will insist that we spend one day doing multiplication by the lattice method (tomorrow). After that, students may use any method they like.
some students in the core 3 class (Ms. Jacob's homeroom) had seen the blog and knew the secret to getting a bonus point on the quiz. no one in my homeroom did.
