We explored fractions some more -- taking turns creating drawings of equivalent fractions -- then solving some proportions and reducing to simplest form.
We ended by touring some very interesting fraction activities on line
my two favorite websites for these are www.shodor.org and www.nctm.org but there are many more. Students will be able to take turns spending time on them during classes next week.
