we did geometry constructions -- on line at www.mathsnet.net and by hand in small groups.
this included making a copy of a line segment, bisecting a line segment, copying an angle and bisecting an angle -- just using a straight edge and a compass the way Pythagoreas did.
about 1/2 the class didn't get a chance to work in small groups (by hand) yet.
THE ASSIGNMENT is to complete just items 2, 3, and 4 on the back side of the problem solving handout (practice 2-7).
