we started with a review of fraction operations -- we had certainly forgotten a lot of what we learned last quarter :(
Then we saw Mr. Duey's fraction rap video on www.teachertube.com -- extra credit for any student who can memorize and perform it :)
We spend most of our time viewing more problem-solving with thinking blocks on www.mathplayground.com -- students turned in their notes for credit on this activity
THE ASSIGNMENT is to complete a handout on solving 1-step equations (all 20 items)
we didn't review yesterday's assignment yet -- we'll review both of these tomorrow.
Blog-viewers will have the advantage of knowing that I am also planning a quick quiz on solving 1-step equations for tomorrow. all my quizzes are open note so be prepared!!
