We did some multi-tasking today: 7 students completed the geometry constructions by hand. I believe everyone is now done with this task -- I will be entering grades on it today.
All students (but one) needed more practice working with the Pythagorean theorem -- they received some review instruction and an additional worksheet to complete. Most did this during class, working in small groups. if not, IT IS DUE TOMORROW: Practice 3-9.
We also discussed divergent thinking (interesting activity on the uses of a brick) and we worked through a 2-D to 3-D Pythagorean theorem problem as a class.
