We first practiced translating sentences into math equations or inequalities. Then we reviewed how to solve those one-variable inequalities and graph them on the number line. Yesterday's homework is getting an "effort" grade.
We moved on to inequalities with 2 variables and completed 4 items on the first side of a handout (7.B) THE ASSIGNMENT is to complete the other side: 9C -- multiple choice matching graphs with equations or inequalities.
We will continue to review on Thursday -- we are getting ready for a test on systems of linear equations and inequalities (some time next week)
ALL late work is due today in order to get credited before progress reports are printed on Friday. Work completed in academic detention will count.
