we started with a quick review of some exponent rules, then we discussed the correct answers to the assignment on conditional statements and counterexamples. We also reviewed all 4 types of "solve systems by elimination" problems. Finally, THE ASSIGNMENT is to complete the p 21 side of the G2-3 handout (on solving multi-step equations).
There is also an EXTRA CREDIT assignment available -- any of the exercises on multiplying matrices found in the text on p. 361 -- due by Friday for credit.
I think we are ready for a quiz on solving by elimination :) Readers of the blog will have an edge, I guess.
