We started our first mini-unit in geometry -- this one covers basic geometry concepts.
there is a lot of vocabulary in geometry and it is very important. I provided each student with a six page packet with a special format to use for vocabulary. this will be GRADED AS A TEST upon completion. There are other handouts for this unit -- many students started on the first one in class. there is NO ASSIGNMENT. As long as students are making good progress on the work in class, there may be no homework for a while.
