we reviewed the measurement assignment, which was mostly about proportions. Then we spent time in class working on solving systems of equations by substitution. we don't like it very much, but that's ok because tomorrow we'll start to learn our third (and final) way to solve systems of equations -- by elimination!!
For TONIGHT"S ASSIGNMENT, please complete the following items in the book, Ch 7, Section 1 (on solving by graphing), items 19 - 33, plus item #38 BUT, skip #25 and, for #24 just write two equations that represent the situation described, don't graph or solve them.
